About this piece
A pen stand that tells a story. The front carries your child's name in big raised letters, and below it a silhouette scene with an inlaid sun or moon: lions, giraffes and elephants at sunset, rockets and astronauts under the moon, a castle and unicorn, or a cricket match in full swing. The scene grows with the name. A short name gets a few figures; a longer name gets a wider stand and more of the scene. Names of up to 8 letters fit. A 5-letter name like Aarav makes a stand about 17 x 5 x 8.5 cm. Behind the front are 3 or 4 open compartments for pencils, pens, crayons, a ruler and scissors. Longer names get 4. Pick one of five designs, each in its own colour pack: - Safari Sunset: orange front with a black back, black animals, a yellow sun and white-topped letters - Space Night: blue with white rockets and a yellow moon - Princess Pink: pink with a dark purple castle and white-topped letters - Princess Lavender: lavender with a dark pink castle and white-topped letters - Cricket Day: cyan with black players and a yellow sun Every stand is 3D printed to order at our Hyderabad studio in PLA. Every colour is printed into the plastic, not painted or stuck on, so nothing chips or peels. The front and the compartment tub are printed separately for crisp detail, then bonded together by hand. A lovely birthday or return gift, a back-to-school present, or a desk piece for the study table. Made to order in 2-3 days and shipped pan-India. Wipe with a dry or damp cloth; keep away from hot cars and direct heat.
